Terms of Service
- Services & Products: Security Mia (operated by Platon Technology INC.) provides professional security equipment sales through a dropshipping model, as well as local installation services.
2. Product Availability: Since we work with specialized global suppliers, product availability and stock levels are subject to change. If an item is out of stock after your purchase, we will notify you and issue a full refund immediately.
3. Payment & Deposits: All online product orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout. For professional installation projects, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. Final payment for services is due immediately upon completion.
4. Cancellations: Installation or service appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
5. Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for pre-existing property damage or structural defects unknown at the time of service. Security Mia does not guarantee 100% prevention of crimes; we are not liable for third-party losses or issues with the client's local network/internet that may affect equipment connectivity.
Refund Policy
Returns: We accept returns on physical products (cameras, safes, sensors, etc.) within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be in their original, sealed packaging and must NOT have been installed or used.
2. Dropshipping Returns: Do not send returns to the address on the shipping label (manufacturer's warehouse). Please contact us at support@miasecurity.com to obtain the authorized return address for our inspection center in Miami.
3. Custom Projects & Safes: Due to their weight and specialized nature, all sales of Safety Deposit Boxes are final once installed. Deposits for custom woodworking or security builds are non-refundable once materials have been purchased.
4. Fees & Shipping: Service call fees are non-refundable. For non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
5. Case-by-Case: For any other situation, refunds are handled at our sole discretion based on the specific circumstances.
Shipping Policy
1. Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-3 business days.
2. Delivery Estimates: As we ship directly from our specialized suppliers to offer you the best technology, estimated delivery time is 7 to 15 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.
3. Multiple Packages: If you order different types of products (e.g., a safe and a camera), they may arrive in separate packages and on different dates as they might be shipped from different specialized warehouses.
4. International Shipping: Any customs duties or local taxes applicable at the destination are the responsibility of the customer.
